Information you're not going to easily find elsewhere in English

The book is full of information and makes a fairly comprehensive attempt to give the reader an overview of Chinese Cosmology and the Zi Wei Dou Shu system.
Pros: Information you're not going to easily find elsewhere in English.
Cons: Small Font, Spelling/Grammar Errors, and overly complex writing style. This is a 1st edition book.
Second edition should improve on :
* How to make a 4P Chart (there are SO many easier ways to describe this)
* Be available as digital download - learning all the material from this book, by hand, is tedious.
* Have a chart construction software - so we can use the book / software together
* Bigger font

If you want to know chinese metaphysic theory you should have this book.

This book is not only Zi Wei Dou Shu but there are a lot of information. The basic and development of Wuji, Taiji, YinYang, Gua and other things will bring you go deeply into astrology. If you love Chinese metaphysics this book you must have.

a very good book with lots of info

Lots of information printed on a very small font that can be a bit difficult to read.
Compare to bazi (four pillars method) zi wei dou shu seems much more complex method of divination and the writer made a very good effort to explain the process step by step. Some section the instruction is a bit difficult to follow and there are some mistakes that cause some confusion but can be work out with extra efforts.
Overall, it is an excellent book on ZWDS that I would recommend.
